Description: |

to key academic institutions throughout the
U.S., setting up or facilitating regional scientific
meetings within Bioscience company therapeutic
areas, providing technical support at state
and federal payer meetings, providing speaker
training or other support for key opinion leader
development, coordinating specific market development
projects, and providing other services (e.g.,
literature searches) to customers. Position
Description: Coordinate answers to clinical
inquiries or disclosures by customers regarding
Bioscience company marketed or developmental
products Prepare and present scientific
and clinical presentations for products marketed
by Bioscience company to advisory boards, decision
committees from hospitals, managed care organizations,
payers, or government reimbursement entities
and key medical staff In concert with
Clinical Research and R&D, facilitate review
and implementation of investigator initiated
research protocols Field external questions
and suggestions regarding marketed or new assays
in development by Bioscience company and coordinate
responses from appropriate internal personnel
Identify, develop, and build advocacy
with regional and national opinion leaders to
support Bioscience company products and establish
strong relationships with opinion leaders and
clinical investigators at key academic institutions
and centers of excellence Train Company
sponsored speakers through scheduled personal
contacts and on-site visits to Bioscience company
and the provision of company prepared presentation
materials. Gather information to create
published case reports in collaboration with
Clinical Research and Marketing Assist
with training of Sales Force at the national,
regional, or territory level. Conduct
specific market development projects and assist
Marketing in the development of tactical plans
by giving feedback and providing suggestions
based on field experience. Maintain clinical,
scientific, and technical expertise in specific
therapeutic areas; review scientific journals,
attend scientific and key technical meetings.

Requirements: |
Qualifications:
M.D. or PharmD required. Minimum
2 years experience in oncology required.
Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience preferred.
Demonstrated high quality interpersonal
and communication skills including presentation
skills. |
