Listings | Northeast | Senior Director of Managed Markets Location: Philadelphia, PA Territory Covered: Home Office Based Position Specialty: Managed Markets Description: A privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company with commercial franchises in several specialties, is currently seeking a Sr. Director, Managed Markets to support continuing US operations. The position has responsibility for all business areas relating to contracted sales agreements, federal and state government programs controlling pharmaceutical utilization, public and private reimbursement policies affecting the companies products, and legislative initiatives or enactments impacting access or reimbursement of the companies products. A key success factor will be the development of collaborative relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Trade/Distribution, Finance and Legal in order to fully execute the oversight and desired outcomes of contract management and reimbursement strategy. Job Requirements: To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience in senior role in Managed Markets, preferably managing a contracting staff. Additionally, this person would have a strong preference for relevant State Medicaid and Med D pharmaceutical experience; solid working knowledge of public payer programs; Excellent relationship building skills as evidenced through proven success with building and maintaining relationships with key customers; Proven leadership skills with demonstrated coaching skills; Proven success in analyzing revenue challenges and developing contracting strategies to meet sales growth objectives; Prior experience in developing contracting and pricing strategy; Demonstrated project management skills; Understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements related to contracting & pricing; Strong PC skills including spreadsheet and presentation capabilities.
