RESOURCES
The
more prepared you are, the better you will do.
There are many resources when it comes to learning
more about a specific company, product or industry.
In this day, we have come to rely on the computer
but do not forget about other important resources,
such as;
-
Physicians
-
People
who are currently or previously employed in
the industry or company you are interested in.
-
If
you do not know anyone who works in the industry
or company, you have nothing to lose by taking
the initiative to walk into a physician's office
or call the company directly. Have questions
prepared that you want to ask prior to doing
this. You can reach out to the medical department
or the customer service department at the company
and ask questions about the product; i.e., what
are the most common side effects, how does a
patient obtain the product, is it covered by
insurance, etc. Be honest as to why you are
calling, i.e., I am researching and trying to
learn more about your company, or I have an
interview and am preparing for my interview.
-
Read
the package insert.
-
Google
the products and company.
-
Identify
the competition and research.
